RE: Dedication of Faunce Hall

I want to thank all who made Faunce Hall a reality. Brian would be so proud. I think Brian would consider Faunce Hall a luxury deserving of the CAP cadet leadership; a home that will nurture future leaders. And as each new Cadet Commander takes charge, Brian's spirit will continue to grow on Hawk Mountain.

Brian was so proud of his years and accomplishments at CAP. The skills and passions that grew with him at Hawk Mountain stayed with him as he grew into manhood, and I could not have been more proud of the young man, husband and leader he became. All who remember Brian as a boy, and remember the "angry little guy" would be very surprised to know that Brian grew up to be very patient. Over and over again we heard stories of how kind and compassionate Brian was, how he always took the time to reach out to individuals who might otherwise be overlooked. His commanders, peers and subordinates all spoke of Brian's natural leadership abilities, how well prepared he would be, no matter how large or small the mission. Brian's leadership training was kindled and grew on Hawk Mountain.

It is an honor for the Faunce family to contribute to this wonderful organization. Please extend our sincere thanks to the senior CAP leadership for their years of hard work and dedication to the youth of Pennsylvania and our country. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and know that Brian lives on in our hearts, our memories and on Hawk Mountain.

With warmest regards, the Faunce Family:

Cheryl Skeide Faunce, widow
Richard Faunce, father
Judith Faunce, mother
